Has The U.S.A. Dropped The Political Ball With The Ukraine?

The United States has made many foreign policy blunders in the past.. but none worst then dropping the political ball with the Ukraine. The Ukraine as you may know has had recent economic tensions and hardships. Caused directly by its teetering relationship with Russia!

Russia Controls a huge portion of Ukrainian gas. Russia has in the past shut down the Ukrainian gas and power lines. This has been a repeated trend in Europe. Recently Prime minister Vladimir Putin Met with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. This is a foreign policy nightmare for the USA. Especially since the previous President of the Ukraine was poisoned with Uranium from an unknown source.

Talk about leave me alone!! What about ring me alone!!! The U.S. Should encourage the Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych to join N.A.T.O. The U.S. should not use Europe as a wedge creating effect. This will have negative consequences in the long run. This will not win the Ukrainian people over.

I think N.A.T.O. should secure The Ukraine and give them the means to protect themselves. The Ukraine has helped the U.S. Many times even going as far as offering 1 hospital and a landing strip for the War On Terror recently after 9/11.

I think 1 U.S. Military base will help in protecting vested mutual interests in the Ukraine. This base will have to be very secure. As the Ukraine has been gripped with security issues recently. Including several terrorist Attacks. Not to mention extreme power outages.

In 2002 there was an Air Show incident, there has been documented footage of this "Accident", that Shows 2 fighter jet pilots crashing their planes right into what appeared to be a Ukrainian or N.A.T.O. Military base at an air show in the Ukraine. This "Accident" killed dozens on the ground and left many decapitated and mangled bodies on the floor of the Air base.

Europe and N.A.T.O. Must not treat this as just another Isolated incident. It must be treated as a "Red Alert"! Those men driving those jets must have been really drunk to crash like that! There was a very small child that got shot at the base as well. I hope that it is not just another unfortunate incident to conservatives. I don't know what message that sent. This does not represent the Ukrainian people as a whole.

Just recently, the Ukraine foiled an attempted Terrorist attack by a man from Georgia who entered the country to cause terror. This was a direct attempt to try to bring down the country. In fact there was a previous chemical spill in 2007 in the Ukraine were there was a train that derailed carrying a very toxic chemical. These strings of accidents are not Isolated.

The U.S. and Europe must help stop the Terrorist financing in the Ukraine. Of course this is a huge undertaking and is not expected overnight. However there must be other factors taken into account on these pressing matters. As many people have been displaced in the past. The Ukraine is very fragile at the moment. This is really the heart of it all!
